Preschool Ministry
Jesus said "Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Mark 10:14
Purpose of the Preschool Ministry
* Minister to the physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual needs of preschoolers.
* Teach that the Bible is a special book. It tells the child about God, Jesus and His great love for us.
* Lay a foundation for each child to accept Christ as his / her Savior at the time in their life when the Holy Spirit first convicts them.
* Provide a safe, clean and happy Christian environment.
* Minister to the families of Preschoolers, encouraging worship, Bible study, visitation and fellowship.
At First Baptist Church, we want to partner with parents to make sure your child has a great experience at church! We want them to have fun. We want them to feel safe and secure. We want them to experience lots of different things. Most of all, we want them to learn that Jesus loves them and we want to model that love for them.
It’s our prayer that you’ll give us the opportunity to do all of those things. At First Baptist, Social Circle, we love children. We’d love to be able to work with you to begin a spiritual foundation for your child today.

Sunday School
Sunday School classes are provided for children ages birth through 5 years old at 9:15 a.m.
Teaching Care
Extended Session is the extended care and teaching time offered at 10:30 a.m. for children ages birth through four years old and takes place while parents are attending the morning worship service. Extended service is staffed by approved volunteers of the church who serve on a rotation schedule.
AWANA
Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (AWANA) is a Bible-centered organization providing weekday clubs and programs. AWANA is provided for children three years old through 6th grade on Sunday evenings during the school year from 5:45 - 7:30 p.m.
