Purpose of the Children’s Ministry
* Minister to the physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual needs of children.
* Teach that the Bible is a special book. It tells the child about God, Jesus and His great love for us.
* Lay a foundation for each child to accept Christ as his/her Savior at the time in their life when the Holy Spirit
first convicts them.
* Provide a safe, clean and happy Christian environment.
* Minister to the families of children, encouraging worship, Bible study, visitation and fellowship.
At First Baptist Church, Social Circle we believe that children are our most valuable asset and it is our mission to reach children at an early age. Our goal is to help them build a strong spiritual foundation in each of their lives. Each area in children's ministry is designed to help children to grow physically, mentally, socially, and most importantly, spiritually. We are excited about what God is doing in the life of our church and would like to extend to you an open invitation to come and join us in Worship and Bible study. Our priority is to minister to the entire family of all ages and stages of life.

Children in Action , an On Mission Experience for
Children Grades 1-6 6:00 PM - 7:15 PM , Wednesday
Mission Friends , an On Mission Experience
for Preschool , ages 3yrs - K-5 Wednesday,
6:00 PM - 7:15 PM
Sunday School
Sunday School classes are provided for children in 1st grade thru 6th grade at 9:15 a.m.
AWANA
Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (AWANA) is a Bible-centered organization providing weekday clubs and programs. AWANA is provided for children three years old through 6th grade on Sunday evenings during the school year from 5:45 - 7:30 p.m.
