AWANA CHILDREN'S PROGRAM “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed”
Meets during the school year -- August through May

What does AWANA stand for?  Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed
"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
"
2 Timothy 2:15  -- NEED LEADERS
AWANA Club is for kids age 3 through grade 6 and meets during the school year. Children are challenged to memorize and understand bible verses and earn awards for their achievements as well as having a game time and group time. To earn awards, clubbers must recite memory verses to AWANA leaders and volunteers who are willing to take less than 2 hours a week on Wednesdays to make a difference in children’s lives. Is that you? Are you an adult willing to listen to children recite memory verses and assist them in uncovering God’s truth? AWANA is our children’s outreach program and is open to any children in the community who will come. Make a commitment to volunteer to be an AWANA leader. It is a pure blessing to see a child reach goals and receive awards for learning God’s Word. For more information or to volunteer, call or email our AWANA Commander, Jim Jones: 770-464-3583 or email - Jim.E.Jones@Williams.com.
We are also in need of a person with a CDL license with a "P" endorsement to drive the bus on Wednesday nights from 5 - 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 - 8 p.m. during the school year.
